Book now to secure your place on our two day Gospel singing conference! Sing! 2018 (now in it’s 5th) year focuses on inspiring and equipping both choir leaders and singers through the genre of Gospel Music. This year we’re in a new venue, Riverside Vineyard Church in Feltham, West London.
Friday 5th October is for all choir leaders and those who dream of leading choirs in the future! We have a top team of leaders this year who will teach, facilitate discusssion and provide fresh inspiration and resources. It’s a great way to meet others leading choirs and share stories and ideas.
Saturday 6th October is for singers and will be a day filled with…singing! This is for anyone who loves gospel music and loves to sing. There will be various workshops throughout the day which people can sign up for as well as lots of chances to learn new songs as one big group. Geraldine Latty (use attached photo) - Her passion for music and people is clear for all to see. She is an accomplished singer/songwriter/performer with seven solo albums to her name. (www.geraldinelatty.com)
Geraldine Latty (Luce) is the founder of Gospel Generation Community Choir (GGCC) which started 14 years ago with one choir in Bristol and now has seven across the South. She has a wealth of experience leading choirs which she uses to help train and teach others in her 'Sing Gospel Workshops.
Emma Smallwood (use photo you already have on site bio page) - a member of the Natural Voice Network, Emma heads up the four Bristol GGCC choirs. She also runs Gospel singing workshops, leads the Complaints Choir at the University of Bristol and runs a Singing for Wellbeing group in Barton Hill. She is passionate about bringing people together through singing and has been a regular teacher at the previous Sing conferences.
Diana Stanbridge (use attached photo) - originally born in Denmark but moved to London to study performing arts at The School of Creative Ministries under the leadership of David and Carrie Grant. Joined the acclaimed London Community Gospel Choir with which she sang for about 6 years. She has sung with many bands and on many recordings and has had the privilege of backing some great artists including: Mariah Carey, P Diddy, Beverly Knight, Professor Green, Gorgon City, The Kooks, Ella Eyre and Emeli Sande. She currently sings with Integrity artist Noel Robinson and is part of his worship initiative 'Kingdon Worship Movement' through which she has sung with many christian worship leaders including: Tim Hughes, Matt Redman, Graham Kendrick, Mark Beswick and Israel Houghton.
Carey Luce (use attached photo) - He is a producer and creativity lecturer and loves encouraging creativity. Carey has worked in a wide range of musical contexts. After graduating from Goldsmiths' College he was a church music director, alongside working as a freelance professional musician and educator.
He has played keyboards and other instruments for numerous events, from gospel to soul, classical to rock, for functions, tv, radio, choirs, and jazz gigs. Carey has a broad experience in forms of creative musicianship including improvisation, song-writing and arranging.
