Emma Smallwood - Choir Manager and Choir Director

Emma lives in Hengrove with her wonderful family. She is a songwriter and musician who runs gospel choir workshops through www.emformusic.co.uk. She joined GGCC over 10 years ago and has been one of the choir directors for about 7 years. In April 2013 she took on the role of leading the new GGCC team.

Heather Staley - Choir Director

Heather lives in Thornbury with her wonderful family! She is a musician and worship leader in her church and helps run a family business as well as working one day a week for her church. She joined the GGCC leadership team in 2013 and has been brilliant!

Rob Chandler - GGCC Treasurer!

Rob has the awesome job of looking after the GGCC finances. He has been singing professionally since age twelve and has been known to perform the occasional solo. He also looks after our choir website!

Rob is currently supporting the choir from afar as he renovates a large Victorian House in Cornwall into a B&B.

Catherine Hickman - Assistant Choir Director

Cath just loves to sing.  As well as being part of GGCC for several years, she also helps lead the choir in the primary school where she works. When she isn’t working, she can usually be found baking or getting creative. She lives with her wonderful family in North Bristol and loves being part of the Shire Choir! 

Glenda Gayle - Assistant Choir Director

Glenda is married to Dan, is a worship leader in her church, House of Praise, Easton and regularly sings solos in our concerts! She is part of the Shirehampton choir and we love having her on the GGCC team.
