Who are Gospel Generation Community Choir?

Gospel Generation Community Choir (GGCC for short!)...who are we?

We are a GOSPEL choir.

We are for all GENERATIONS.

AND

We are about building COMMUNITY.

Started 21 years ago as just one choir meeting in Westbury Park, GGCC is now five choirs meeting in different parts of Bristol. Although locations have changed, faces have changed, the ethos of who we are hasn't. We are a choir for absolutely anyone to join. We have no auditions. No previous experience is required, you just need to enjoy singing! There is no membership fee either, we just ask for voluntary donations to help cover our costs.

Each of the GGCC choirs meet to rehearse for 8-10 week terms in their separate locations and then we all come together to form a MEGA choir for end of term concerts. This is always an amazing experience and new friendships have been formed across the city as a result.

We also love to take our singing out on the road! GGCC regularly gets invited to sing at community events such as street parties, fayres, & open days. We have also sung at weddings and visited HMP Bristol and schools.

How can you help?
